Glossary of Certifications
Australian Made
Australian Made is a not-for-profit public company that was
established to promote Australian products in Australia and
overseas and licence companies to use the logo. For a product
to gain an Australian Made certified it needs to have been
manufactured in Australia (not just packaged or assembled);
and 50% or more of the cost of making it must be able to be
attributed to Australian materials and/or production processes.

The PEFC™ (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification
schemes) is an international not-for-profit, non-governmental
organisation dedicated to promoting Sustainable Forest
Management (SFM) through independent third party certification.
PEFC™ is the world’s largest sustainable forest management

EarthSaver
Indicates that the product has met Winc Ethical Sourcing
requirements and at least one of the following criteria:
• Contains 30% post-consumer recycled content or more
• Adheres to a selected group of third-party environmental
standards and certifications

materials or bio-based plastics

Ecospecifier Global Green Tag
Ecospecifier Global is a leading global source of life-cycle assessed
product information and specialises in categorisation of products

is a third party verification of a product’s health and environmental

Supply Nation is a not-for-profit organisation whose purpose is
to certify and provide opportunities for small to medium-sized
Indigenous-owned businesses to enter into commercial relationships
with large corporate and government entities.
To be Supply Nation Certified, a company must fit the following
criteria: at least 51 percent ownership is by an Indigenous
Australian(s); the company is lead/managed by a Principal Executive
Officer who is an Indigenous Australian, the key business decisions
regarding the company’s finances, operations, personnel and
strategy are made by an Indigenous Australian(s); the company is
able to distribute it’s goods, services and /or products to memebers
or others trading as a business and the business is located in

FSC
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®) is an international not-for-
profit, multi-stakeholder organisation who promotes responsible
management of the world’s forests. The FSC® does this by setting
global standards on forest products, along with certifying and
labelling them as eco-friendly.
