Community Recognition : YWCA Women of Distinction Award
Dr . Carol Fulton
Dr . Carol Fulton , Professor Emerita , Faculty of Education , received the 2013 YWCA Women of Distinction Award for Education and Mentorship . The recipient of this award is a mentor and / or educator in many avenues of life and inspires a passion for life-long learning in those around her through the education system , employee training and development , community education or alternative programs . She may be developing innovative programs to meet the special needs of learners , and / or building a strong rapport with students , parents , colleagues , and the community at large to foster learning in a broader sense .” 1
Carol is involved in community projects and programs that help enrich the lives of children and parents in the core area of Regina . One of Carol ’ s
