18 Short Sales are from MARS In this 3.75 hour class, students will learn and gain a understanding of the complexities of the short sale process. Short sales will still be a component of the real estate industry and students who get involved in these difficult transactions should be prepared to disclose pitfalls and opportunities to their client. By reviewing the short sale transaction from start to finish, students will see the hazards to avoid, the issues to share with their clients and the positives/negatives that short sale can have with their client. Minnesota is unique in foreclosure laws and students will be exposed to the nuances of Chapters 580 to 584 regarding foreclosure laws and what the consumers rights and remedies might be.
