In the school years 2017/18, and 2018/2019 I participated in the Erasmus+ project, as a part of which I went to Spain, and later to Iceland.
I joined the project because I saw it as a great opportunity to visit another country. A part of this programme was that we were assigned tasks and had to try to get as many points as possible which was pretty difficult because we didn't have much time to do them. That combined with a relatively large amount of people that joined this project meant that I really had to do my best. On the other hand, doing these tasks has taught me many new things about the other participating countries, and to my surprise, even my own country. Overall, despite the difficult nature of the challenges, having been picked to visit two countries that were so different from each other, and experiencing their culture, meeting new people, making new friends, visiting interesting landmarks and exploring beautiful nature, has been a very rewarding experience. People that didn't get to visit another country weren't left without a reward either as they got to visit new interesting places in Slovakia.
To anyone that's hesitant about participating in this project, I can highly recommend it.
