Edson Sno-Seekers
A nonprofit, family oriented club, the Edson
Sno-Seekers have existed informally since 1969,
and was officially registered in 1986.
Sno-Seeker volunteers maintain signed, groomed trails
from Edson north to Silver Summit, west to the Little
Sundance Staging Area and South to Robb. There is
a warm-up shelter between Edson and Silver Summit,
and at Tom Hill Tower where the trail connects to the
Whitecourt trail system (Golden Triangle).
The Edson Sno-Seekers are members of the Alberta
Snowmobile Association and promote safe snowmobile
riding in Edson and area.

Edson Curling Club
Located at the Edson and District Recreation
Complex, the Edson Curling Club hosts Men’s, Ladies’,
Recreation and Junior leagues.
With four sheets of ice the Edson Curling Club is a great
place to learn the sport, meet new friends or just watch
the action.
The Edson Curling Club is a member of the Canadian
Curling Association.

Hockey/Skating
Edson has two outdoor arenas. One in Glenwood Park,
463 - 72 Street and one in Griffiths Park (behind the
Boys and Girls Club) at 5414 - 6 Avenue. Both arenas
have full boards with lights (until 10:30 pm) and are
maintained by the Town of Edson.
Talisman Place (Leisure Centre)has two indoor arenas
for hockey and public skating from September to
April. The arenas are home to minor hockey teams,
ladies recreational hockey, men’s hockey league
and oldtimers hockey. The arenas are also home
to an active figure skating club. Public skating
and shinny are regularly scheduled.
