Obed Lake Provincial Park Obed Lake Provincial Park encompasses 3 small lakes and the upland areas around them. The area contains a diverse mix of wetland and well drained upland communities including black spruce, tamarack, ferns, mixed wood forests, and closed conifer forests of lodgepole pine and black spruce. The area is important for wildlife as well, especially for elk and as an over wintering area for moose. 55 km W of Edson on Highway 16
