AREA RODEOS 36th Annual Medicine Lodge Rodeo May 13,14 & 15, 2016 This home grown event is a staple in the community with events ranging from ladies barrel racing to saddle bronc. The Medicine Lodge Rodeo was started by Alma Anderson, who believed that being a cowboy was something of which to be proud. The Anderson family proudly carries on this belief and continue to strive to bring a truly western weekend to all contestants and spectators alike. This rodeo is also a great supporter of the next generation of cowboys and cowgirls — hosting junior barrel racing, stick horse racing, wild cow milking, miniature horse racing and other very exciting events. So sit back and enjoy the country flair of the 36th Annual Medicine Lodge Rodeo.
