36th Annual Medicine Lodge Rodeo May 13,14 & 15, 2016
This home grown event is a staple in the community with events ranging from ladies barrel racing to
saddle bronc. The Medicine Lodge Rodeo was started by Alma Anderson, who believed that being a
cowboy was something of which to be proud.
The Anderson family proudly carries on this belief and continue to strive to bring a truly western
weekend to all contestants and spectators alike. This rodeo is also a great supporter of the next
generation of cowboys and cowgirls — hosting junior barrel racing, stick horse racing, wild
cow milking, miniature horse racing and other very exciting events.

will be hosting Edson Professional Bull Riding in
conjunction with the Jesse James Memorial
Rodeo (on May 23rd).
The Edson PBR is the only Professional Bull
Riding in the Yellowhead
Outside of bull riding, the PBR will
also feature a mini bronc jackpot,
PBR announcer of the year Dustin
Edwards, a Cowboy Dinner and

Wildwood Bronc Bustin’ is the only
rodeo of its kind in Canada. It’s founder
Rod Hay, who is an eight time Canadian
champ and 20 time NFR qualifier has brought
together Canadian champions and World
champions from the USA and Australia.
As a Canadian Professional Rodeo Association event,
all the prize money counts toward the Canadian Finals
Rodeo.
Wildwood Bronc Bustin’ is a CPRA sanctioned event,
where the prize money counts towards the Canadian
Finals Rodeo in November!
The WBB is now sanctioned with the Professional Rodeo Cowboys
Association and prizes count toward the NFR in Las Vegas!
