Publications such as magazines and newsletters are a great way to keep everyone in the National Junior Classical League connected and informed about events. They serve as useful publicity tools to engage members and invite potential members. Creating a publication enhances writing, graphic arts, and software skills of JCLers, and also teaches collaboration and teamwork among members. Usually, the editor is at the helm of the publication process, but in some instances, another state or local chapter officer assumes the role of the editor. This handbook serves as a guide for those of you who create (or are planning on creating) publications. I hope you find it useful!
