THE FONTSELF
FONTSELF TURNS ANY HANDWRITING AND LETTERING INTO AN OPENTYPE
FONT IN JUST A FEW MINUTES. WE WILL HAVE A LITTLE LOOK AT FONTS, AND
DISCOVER WHY, WE SHOULD CREATE MORE UNIQUE HANDWRITTEN FONTS.
N
ow to the one thing we
all have a terribly close
relationship to. We are of
course talking about the fonts.
Whatever it has been concious or
the opposite, in some direction
everyone of us has a relationship
to it. The fonts. Weather it's the
joy in child's eye when the Coca
Cola logo is seen or the weird
love/hate relationship to the
font Comic Sans. We can't really
ignore it. The popular ones are
the ones we see the everywhere.
Those we knew from the School

Old Style, Transition and Modern
due the different thickness of
the font. Williams Caslon's great
grandson decided to cut the serif's
introducing Sans Serif fonts. Now
advertising and other branches
played with a variety of this
style, and soon typography was
digitalized allowing everyone to
create their personal typeface.
THE HISTORY
To get an idea of when all of this

Let's ignore the bible and munks
and all the old scripts that was
written such a long time ago. At
this time it was time-comsuming
and expensive.
Due to this issue a german man,
Johannes Guthenberg, created the
