FORMULA 1 TESTING 2020
Before the new Formula 1 season starts the all-important test sessions take place.
Closer racing and more overtaking – these are the key targets set out by F1 chiefs
ahead of the 2020 Formula 1 season.
Changes to the cars include new clutch management systems, making life more
difficult for drivers at the start of each race. There are also new regs regarding the
volume of fuel outside the survival cell to cut down on fuel saving. Plus, tweaks to
the size and position of rear-view mirrors. These updates will challenge the
engineers and it’s always a race against the clock to get the cars on track.
