(Gosh, THAT never happens!). This led to a series of personnel changes, until the current line-up came together after an online search of various musician sites by Ames and Brock. Says Brock “We auditioned numerous candidates and what has resulted from this process is a fusion of an even more talented, accomplished group of rockers. This quirky “band family” has joined forces to write all new music and each member plays an integral role in that process.” Crimson Storm has just emerged from the recording studio with their latest single “High” (World Premiere is right here in EDGE Entertainment News!). Besides Paul Ames on guitar and lead vocals, the current ensemble of Crimson Storm includes: Craig Cole (lead guitar/backing vocals), Ryan “Machine Gun” DuBois (drums), and moi, Kiki Plesha (bass/backing vocals. Lightning fast lead Guitarist/Vocalist, practicing poet, work-out enthusiast, and Ivy League MBA graduate, Craig Cole attributes his shredding style to the screaming riffs of the iconic 70’s and 80’s rock and metal bands. He lists his musical inspirations as Dream Theater, Dokken, and Winger. Considered to be a musical prodigy, Cole is also an accomplished drummer. Additionally, he is the appointed “Zen Master Dude” of the band, as he spreads a message of love, positivity, and joy--all the while gnashing his teeth and ripping it on his Dean Guitar. When asked for a quote regarding this article, Cole said “Yay!!!” And there you have it… Drummer Ryan “Machine Gun” DuBois (who is also a Surgical Technician) says his precision percussions were forged in the fire-breathing thrash/metal genre. Dubois’s influences include Iron Maiden, Anthrax, Slayer, Testament, Shadows Fall, and Godsmack. Dubois says of his weapon of choice “I’ve been playing drums for about 11 years now. Music is my passion and my life force--my heart, my soul. I feel very strongly about this band. I see great things for us and look forward to our collaborative contribution to the music community.” On a personal note, Dubois has some pretty awesome hair as well.
