CRIMSON STORM

“You want me to do WHAAAATTTTT?”
This was my first reaction when contacted by Crimson Storm. I was a new transplant to the Phoenix area and searching for a musical project befitting a seasoned rocker-chicksongbird (in addition to my day gig as a contribuiting writer, blogger at Krava by Kiki, and Public Relations “goddess”). But this particular response to my audition ad was a bit insane (in theory). And what was this request that struck terror in my heart? No, not leaving the house without my makeup bag…even MORE scary! It appeared that the Crimson Storm band wanted this vocalist and acoustic guitar player to strap on a bass and learn to properly “bruise” it—quickly.
