EDCAL   5 www.acsa.org Paid Advertisement Transitions Gale Albert Reynolds passed away on Feb. 24, 2019, at the age of 94. Reynolds served as a Professional Standards Exec- utive for ACSA from August 1975 until July 1990, when a heart attack prompted his reluctant retirement. Prior to working for ACSA, Reynolds was employed by the Norwalk La Mirada Unified School District as a teacher, assistant principal and principal. Reynolds attended Pomona College, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in June 1949, and subsequent- ly attended Claremont Graduate School, from which he received his Master of Arts degree in June 1956. Reynolds was also a proud veteran of World War II, having enlisted in the U.S. Navy in January 1942 and served for the duration of the war. Reynolds is survived by Betty, his wife of 72 years, his brother Chet, his two sons, Scott and Roger, and four grandchildren.
