d Sheeran was born in February 1991 in Halifax. He started at a young age by playing guitar and writing his own songs. He moved to London as a teenager following his passion with a variety of EP's and hundreds of live shows. The young star was bound for success. After hitting No.1 on iTunes Sheeran signed to Atlantic for his first ever record deal. During this time, he released two albums labelled a self-titled record in 2006 and Want some? In 2007. His journey to fame kicked in when asked to open for Example in 2010. After appearing on Jamie Fox, Sheeran released another EP. Without any promotion it became No.2 or the iTunes charts.

During 2013, “I see fire”, yet another big hit from the artist, was featured in the move ‘The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug’. 2014 brought the release of one of Sheeran’s biggest albums “X”. Singles like “Don’t”, “Photograph” and “Thinking Out Loud”, went through the roof in the U.S. and the U.K. Consequently, with the latter winning the Grammy for Song of the year and Best Pop Solo Performances in 2016.
