The great bustard is the king
of steppe birds in the fields of
cereal crops, at 0.9 metres tall,
1 metre long, weighing over 18
kilos and with a wingspan of 2
metres it is the heaviest flying
bird in the world. Out of many
other birds the little bustard is
also worth a mention. The lesser
kestrel has its habitual residence here from the beginning of
spring the same as the red kite.
There are also interesting birds
of prey like the marsh harrier
and even the black-winged
kite.
