Seminars and conferences are being held in various institutions frequently . Participants who present their papers on a given topic work hard to bring out their best . These occasions improve communication skills , provide expert knowledge and gives networking opportunities to those on the dias as well as listeners . Seminars help explore topics in more depth , share indeas that advances one ' s thinking , learn from other people ' s experiences and give an opportunity identify and sort out misunderstandings . After the event is over its reverberations are found in the form of subsequent articles and research efforts . If the proceedings are published , they become a permanent source and support for the upcoming literature .
