Bad weather in the north of Europe

Europe was hit by a storm, in consequence of which two people have disappeared and two have died. In Ireland about 7000 houses lost power. In the East Scottish cost authorities evacuated about 10 thousand houses due to the most violent tides in the last 60 years. In Germany, the Humburg airport closed because of a storm called Xaver. Maritime connections between Germany and Switzerland were cancelled as well. The United Kingdom has been hit by several storms since the beginning of the year. There were devastating floods in the southwest and cities by the river Thames were also brutally affected by floods.
