I am an active environmentalist and always make it a point to do my bit to save depleting resources like water, electricity, trees and to represent myself in Green events like the recent Earth Hour at Burj Plaza. In past I have been writing articles / opinions to National newspaper " Gulf News " on environment / stop wastage of electricity etc. I also participate in campaigns like can Collection campaign( collecting aluminum for recycling), newspapers recycling project, batteries recycling, attending community lectures on environment. I am EEG( Emirates Environmental Group) member. I am also member of our school Eco Committee. I am grade 9 student of DPS Sharjah( would be in grade 10 in April). I have a lot to say but would cut it short and would like to draw your attention to my participation in Earth Hour 2013. Attached are the photos. I was also called on stage and was felicitated for my works on environment.
