“ this year we celebrated earth hour in mega mall, sharjah. it was a great event and everyone enjoyed it. the greatest threat to the environment is the belief that someone else will save the earth. our mission targeted this belief. most of us think that let others start something then I will join it or we think we don ' t have the ability to take a step towards the earth. in this event we explained to the people that we don ' t need to wait for others to take a step and we don ' t need to be the best at start. we need to start thinking about the earth In small actions at the start, every action counts whether its big or small. your step towards the earth is never futile. we spread awareness through this event and gave people unique ideas to save the environment. during the earth hour we also lit up many candles in the shape of the earth hour logo. we also had 2 band performances which presented one self composed song for the environment and 1 other song. we celebrated this year ' s earth hour in a unique way and this event also gave a chance for students to come up and speak about the mother nature and share their thoughts with everyone. we started planning for it 1 month ago and finally we had come up with a good event.
