ecoflash winners of “Packaging waste separate collection and recycling t-shirt design” contest announced Lorita constantinescu Public relations and communication manager Eco-Rom Ambalaje, in partnership with the National Art University of Bucharest (UNArte), which initiated the “Packaging waste separate collection and recycling T-shirt design” contest, together with the other members of the jury, selected the most creative T-shirt design, out of a total of 54 projects. Chioran Drago? of Oradea is the winner of the grand prize. His T-shirt design shows separate collection containers imagined in the shape of creative, funny characters that invite people to collect waste separately and explain what kind of waste goes to what container. ?e simple, easy to remember and friendly message is very suggestive and can easily pass separate collection info to the public. ?ese were the main arguments for the selection of the winning design. Second place went to Gherghin Cristiana of Bucharest, who associated the gesture of separate collection with a simple child’s game. ?ird place went to two designs: Semenescu ?erban Constantin of Boto?ani and Gherghelescu Alexandru Eugen of Constan?a – their designs invited people to stop mixing waste together, just as they don’t mix important things in life, and to start thinking separately. “?e creative ideas we found in the projects signed up for this contest and the fact that young people were involved made us very happy. ?is shows that young people are increasingly concerned with environmental protection. We thank everybody for their support and we would like to congratulate the winner, who we hope will be proud when he sees his design at the biggest concerts, festivals, events and information campaigns about the separate collection of waste. We will continue to organize such creative contests to educate and implicate young people, in hope that more of them will make separate collection a part of their day-to-day habits and will pass the gesture along to their friends,” said Sorin Cristian Popescu, Eco-Rom Ambalaje General Manager. ?e “Packaging waste separate collection and recycling T-shirt design” contest was held May 25-June 23, 2013, and was open to all 18 to 26 year olds. ?e media partners of the “Packaging waste separate collection and recycling Tshirt design” contest were: Designist.ro, Modernism.ro, Iqads, IGLOO, Sofresh.ro, Feeder.ro, Hipmag.ro, CentrulVechi.com, Inspirationist.ro and GensDuBien – Comunitatea Oamenilor de Bine.
