Rio Bucovina and Eco-Rom Ambalaje,
Together for Separate Collection and
Packaging Waste Recycling
S
upporting public information and education about separate collection for
recycling has been one of the constants in Eco-Rom Ambalaje activities, in
line with our mission. “Decide and Be
Eco!”, a campaign initiated by Rio Bucovina
in the fall of 2012 and supported by
Eco-Rom Ambalaje, started from the initiator’s wish to identify a strong message for
the public, to encourage them to discover
and preserve unique places in Romania by
collecting separately and recycling waste.
ﬔe project aimed at involving the consumer actively in the selection of the greatest impact message, through the “Decide
and Be Eco!” application available on both
companies’ Facebook pages. More than
400 slogan proposals were received during
the month of the project. One of the predefined messages - “Consume, Select, Recycle!” received most of the votes, and was
then developed into a logo which is now
present on the labels of Bucovina natural
mineral water plastic bottles.
ﬔis year, Rio Bucovina continues to draw
the public’s attention to the importance of
separate collection of packaging with recycling purposes. Again with the support of
Eco-Rom Ambalaje, Rio Bucovina has
launched “Romania Unequalled”, a vast
awareness campaign about the natural
beauties of Romania which can be preserved by responsible consumption, separate collection and recycling. ﬔis long-term
CSR program implemented by Rio Bucovina encourages the public to discover and
share images of unique places in Romania,
at the same time committing to keep its
natural riches unchanged.
ﬔe general public is expected to support
the initiative to make Romania better
known and rise the level of recognition and
appreciation for the beautiful places, unequalled landscapes and wonderful people
we are all so proud of, by joining the Romania Unequalled community:
