Geckoes are not wearing ECO L’O PAW's under their feet, but they might as well be. The ECO L’O makeup remover PAW mimics the extremely fine structure of the fibers that form the gecko’s “spatula”. These fibres, through the force of molecular attraction, known as the Van der Waal’s law (vdW)* allow the gecko to cling on to and climb all sorts of surfaces with little effort. Similarly, and still thanks to the principle of molecular attraction, the ECO L’O PAW’s microfibers allow it to attract and grip on to a multitude of particles which are usually difficult to dislodge.
The structure of these microfibers and the law of vdW also explain the gecko’s ability to self-clean. Dust, and other contaminants, simply cannot remain in the gecko’s “forest” of dense nano-hairs and are easily expelled when it comes time for cleaning. The same phenomenon occurs in the ECO L’O’s makeup remover PAW, Rinse it with warm water and a soft soap and the microfibers opens up releasing the captured makeup making it very easy to clean.
