KONYA-TURKEY
The geography of Konyan is located in the middle of the Anatolian peninsula and south of
the Central Anatolian region. The territory of Konya has a surface area of 38.873 km2 and a
large part is on the high plains of Central Anatolia. The southern and southern western parts
are in the Ak region
TARAŞCI SECONDARY SCHOOL “WHO ARE WE?”
Taraşcı Secondary school is in Seydişehir Konya. Konya is known as city of tolerance thanks
to MEVLANA known as Sufi by western people. Mevlana is known with its verses as “Come,
Come Whoever You Are”.
Our school is at a village Taraşcı. We have natural beauties and historical places. There are
both secondary and primary school in our school.
Our school consists of seven classrooms.There are seventeen teachers.Number of students
is one hundred thirty three.Teaching is normal in shape.Lesson start time is at 08.50.End of
the lesson is at 15.50.
There is one library. We have a Z library.There are different intelligence games like
mangala, hedef 5, scrubble etc. There are also novels and science and art magazines in our
library.
There are basketball football and volleyball fields at our school.We play volleyball
basketball football games there in our free time with great joy.
In addition to the erasmus eco friendly actions project corner.We also have a project class
for our project. We also join eco schools and nutrition friendly school projects.
There are high mountains around our school.There are greenhouses around our school and
we have a green nature. Additionally we have a school forest. Taraşcı secondary school
students love nature.
