On February 28th, 2015 Chapter Commander Hunt accepted the award on behalf of the Chapter at the NAACP Unsung Heroes Banquet. Grand Marshal Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade Monday, January 19, 2015 - Myrtle Beach, South Carolina There was great attendance, which provided the opportunity to hand out a lot of candy, flyers, and new membership applications as we gained extra exposure with our vibrant new NABVETS Chapter Flag and a NABVETS placard on Member Trenton Bellamy’s beautiful “Lil’ Red Corvette,” for which we send a big “Thank You” to him. NABVETS Horry County Chapter #0095 celebrated its first year of service in March of 2015. The large number of community leaders and members in attendance was testimony to the positive impact that they have had on the community and the lives of the Veterans and their families that they serve.
