“Anything Is Possible,” was recorded by the contemporary gospel group Anointed and earned her a Dove Award for Best Recorded Urban Song of the Year, Sherree co-wrote two songs and sang backing vocals on the Smooth Jazz Guitarist Norman Brown’s record “Just Chillin’” which earned a Grammy Award for best Contemporary Instrumental Album.

​Sherree segued into the Adult Contemporary Jazz and the Gospel industry as a singer and songwriter. Her vocal presence has graced the albums of major recording artist such as Four Play, Brian Culbertson, Jonathan Butler, Al Jarreau, and Peter White. She has also been accredited to working on the albums of gospel music’s stellar artists and their producers, such as the Winans, CeCe Winans, Michael W. Smith, Kirk Franklin, Warryn Campbell, and Israel Houghton and New Breed, projects.

Sherree was also successfully placing songs on movie soundtracks, such as The Princess Diaries and Save the Last Dance and her ‘soultry’ voice was used as the musical interludes for the hit movie, “Brown Sugar.”

​This indie artist has released 3 albums thus far. Her debut album, First Fruit, was reviewed as an acoustic inspirational soul project and earned a “highly recommended” rating from Detrel Howell of Soultracks.com, who called Sherree’s voice “simply refreshing.” “A Sherree Patrice Christmas” album in the musical mold of First Fruit soon followed. Sherree’s third solo album, Soul Thirsty, was labeled to having a distinctive “gospel café” sound. It crackles with finger-popping, breezy acoustic jazz and inspirational messages. Black Gospel Blog called Soul Thirsty “fascinating,” “fresh,” and “meditative.”

​Today is a new day for Sherree Patrice. Reigniting her passion for music, her new projects will showcase her many years of experience in the industry fusing sounds and inspirations from all genres of music. It is with that same passion and that Sherree Patrice

became the founder and director of Brown Butterfly Enterprises LLC and The House of Zion Creative Arts Foundation nonprofit whose mission is to bring the wonderment of the cultural arts enrichment to new and advancing artist, “I want to inspire and encourage others to joyfully stay the course of their predestined journeys as I walk out my own.” In addition to being a music artist, Sherree is a proud wife and mother of six and currently resides in Leander, Texas.
