Austin Intercultural Network is a 501 c(3) nonprofit that was founded in 2011 with an intention to celebrate and unite Austin's diverse cultures. We provide a welcoming platform in which community groups can showcase their diverse culture, language, arts, literature, achievements and knowledge as a means to promote cultural awareness, community partnerships and cultural diversity now in our seventh year, we have over 2000 members representing over 25 nations around the world!

Each year in the spring, we collaborate with local designers from around the world, to bring to the community our most popular event of the year, The Intercultural Fashion Show. This event is our annual fundraiser, and a community favorite, where the audience gets to experience high fashion from different countries, including African, North American, Mexican, Indian, European and Native American clothing. It’s an exciting event, runway to the world, right here in Austin!

In the summer, we collaborate with a couple of other local organizations on The International Potluck, where our members get to experience different foods and flavors from around the world. This is definitely a foodie favorite and we believe that there is no better way to bring people together than over food. And you get to try out lots of yummy foods that you might not have ventured into otherwise, and meet a lot of fun people and have interesting conversations!
