A letter from the Asistant Editor
A friend asked me the other day what I did when I was lacking in creativity.
My immediate response was, “ connect with others”. When we reach out and ask questions, we open our minds and hearts to the stories of those around us.
These stories are important and longed to be shared. This is what makes me so excited about joining the Eclectic Shades Magazine team and launching our very first edition in Los Angeles.
We have a platform, but more importantly a responsibility, to share the stories of the creative minds, the big hearts and the inspirational humans around us.
In this issue I was blessed to reconnect with some friends from around the world and get their stories on what they are passionate about. Stylist, Kiarra Logan brings us the latest on Spring Style, inspirational writer and foodie, Daisy Fuentes Dronen delivers a delicious recipe, Fitness Expert Jackie Peterson shares her sugar addiction solutions, and Comedian, Writer and Producer Adam Minnick reveals his recent selection to the New Filmmakers Film Festival in NYC with “Forgotten.”
From our cover features, our insightful writers, the fashion photos and more, we aim to build bridges and share a positive outlook on life.
Eclectic Shades Magazine L.A. is a tool for bringing together a global community of people who seek to encourage and promote all ethnicities and build upon this foundation for the betterment of our community. We look forward to connecting with our readers at the Beverly Hills Film Festival and celebrating at our launch party.
ES Los Angeles Magazine desires to be apart of the solution, not the problem. Please join us as we move forward in faith that our cities will grow in peace and come together like never before. We will do our part. How can you be a part of the solution?
Sincerely,
Christina G. Sato
