Letter from the Editor
Never give up. What does this phrase mean in your life? I have had the opportunity to meet incredible people from all walks of life who have arrived where they are today by “never giving up.” From the outside they have it all together. They are
talented, ambitious, motivated and living out their dreams, but what we learn when we dig deeper into their journeys, is that there was a path of hills and valleys that lead them to success. Arriving at this level of success comes after taking one day at a
time, putting one foot in front of the other, rejection after rejection, always moving
forward, and always pushing ahead. Success does not have to be acquiring wealth and fame. Success can be living out your purpose, finding joy in your work and providing for your family. If we take some time out of our busy lives to reflect on
our past obstacles, defeats and low moments, we can appreciate the strength and will we possessed to move past those difficult times. Sometimes reflecting on the past can bring pain and sorrow, but the reality of our presence and arrival to today,
should give us confidence that we are warriors. We have overcome, and we will continue to overcome the struggles and challenges ahead. With age, comes wisdom, and a certain peace that assures us, this too shall pass. What wall are you facing?
What obstacle stands in your way? Never give up. Your future self will look back on this time with a smile and thank you. Keep pushing forward through your valley. The mountain is just ahead, and when you begin that climb, bring others with you.
Sincerely,
