Austin’s premier Derby Party is known as "The Best Party in Texas!” Thousands of spectators attended The Victory Cup this past May and watched the Derby in style. They came to watch polo matchups surrounded by trees, bright greenery, and a spectacular polo field!
In its thirteenth year, this event isn’t just a polo match; it’s a networking and social destination drawing thousands of people from Texas and beyond! The event keeps growing, and the quality of the overall experience continues to improve. The Victory Cup is more than a polo match; it also features local, farm to table foods, spirits, beer, and wine. It featured over 75 new alcohol brands and over 25 restaurant tasting partners this year. Spectators who come, know this is not your typical uptight polo match. They come ready to party.
The Victory Cup Team throws a polo match party that everyone can enjoy. While The Victory Cup is a private, for-profit organization, they have donated over $45,000 to various charities. In the past, the events have been hosted in partnership with Vineyard Vines, Austin Young Men’s Business League, the Lou Cardillo Home Selling Team, Ryan Leahy Cornerstone Home Lending, and others. The fundraising has benefitted nonprofits such as: Austin Sunshine Camps, Foster Angels, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Dell Children’s Medical Center, Texas Longhorn Polo, Little Baby Face Foundation, and many others.
