Chris: Any memorable or funny shoots that you'd like to share with us?

Alejandro: The day I was ready to shoot in the middle of a creek with a model and had lights ready at 7 AM. We were going to shoot swimwear. The moment I tried to take the first picture I realized I didn’t bring any batteries for my camera. After checking everywhere and tell her what happened, she said, “Do you think we can reschedule to another day when you are more prepared?” I responded, “Do you mind if I do the photoshoot with my cell phone?” We agreed, and pictures turn out great. I felt awkward though shooting with the cell phone because there were other photographers doing couple, family and maternity sessions and using their DSLR cameras in the same area.

Chris: If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be and why?

Alejandro: I love living in Austin, but I would like to explore South America, England, Iceland, India, Eastern Europe, and Cuba.
