Dead Men In The Water

4

Her hands cusped over her ears, as she yells and screams to the heavens cursing the god who she felt made all. The sound of abandonment shrills of that of out of tuned violin that is grazed with a bow unrosined. Interwoven with in her cries, she yells with defiance. “I curse you god, I curse you. “I hope someone rapes you, I hope you starve, I hope you will be imprisoned for all of the crimes you placed on all of mankind. For all that you have created you doomed into the very criminals you have created.

What god are you?! Ana leans up from her hotel bed and walks toward the skies she had been screaming at. A blood tear that barely streams is building in the pocket of her right eye. She walks with her head slightly tilted up, looking upward and onward with cockiness and anger. “I said I curse you”. She turns her head and looks back to the skies she had denounced with frivolous passions. She then walks toward the balcony; her hands lean upon the rails. o the skies she glares with defiance.

With crescendo she screams once again with blatant almost villainous anger. “How dare you… HOW DARE YOU, (screams) I CURSE YOU, I CURSE YOU! I CURSE YOU god, HOW DARE YOU”. She raises her hand to the sky and the earth begins to shake with trepidation. She has no fear at this moment as she wishes to die. Her heart speaks with in her. “I trusted you, I believed in you. How can you have let them harm me, how could you let me fail when I cried and pleaded to you every day to save me, to save those affected by me, each time I failed I still believed in you. How can I live in a world where there is a psychopath that creates life to hurt them? To harm them. You heard my sorrows, haven’t you? You found it comical to watch me curl inside with pain… as I reached out for your invisible hand. As I lamented, each time I prayed for your help as his whip coddled my body with the sting of the whip. It burned, it still burns… Why didn’t you make it stop?! They shut the doors in my face. I cursed you in the inside, but now I curse you with my entire being. HOW DARE YOU!”

These last set of screams seemed to have awaken something that lies between this dimension and the next, the concrete ground by the hotel cracked with a large creviced line that travelled through into the desert. Men in tuxedos stood by the pool in a trance. One by one they each walked into the pool, one by one they sunk and drowned themselves. Unaware of the men in tuxedos who were drowning themselves in the pool, Ana stood on the balcony as the earth continued to tremble she begins notices the earth’s separation and extending beyond, deeper and deeper into the deepest parts of desert; the land of NOD. She eyes rejoin the sky unafraid, with a smirk. With slyness she moves her shoulders like that of a snake, she looks once again to her friend in the sky, chin down eyes up where her eyes appear to become more slanted. “is that the best you can do?” If you are going to kill me, there is no need for elaborate showmanship. End it. END IT NOW”. With a grunt, deep voice, “You are so pathetic.” She looks downward toward the pool and notices one of the men in Tuxedos that looks at her with tears and sobbing.
