Chris Clark
Chris: Where are you originally from?
Kelly: Im from Houston, Texas coming from an incredibly conservative Indian father and an incredibly selfless Italian-Spanish mother.
Chris: How did you start modeling?
Kelly: I was in New York visiting and a couple of photographers I encountered motivated me to give it a try....I was very hesitant at first because I love doing creative projects and working with people but I'm still shy!
Chris: Most memorable photo shoot to date? And why?
Kelly: I think the most memorable shoot to date was my first one ever...just because it made me feel such a free feeling so releasing of all my negative energies. It also made me realize that I could express so much of whatever is going on in my life through so many different kinds of concepts and styles.
Chris: If you could shoot with any celebrity model/photographer who would it be and why?
Kelly: I am pretty sure that if I had the chance to shoot with a celebrity it would be Eminem! He's not a model at all, although he could be, he has very strong features! but anyway, I love all of his songs and how rap is to him is very much what modeling has become to me, a way to express one's self! I don't think he would ever do it hahah but I can assure you that if he did his concept ideas would be out of this world!
Chris: What would be an ideal photo shoot for you?
Kelly: An ideal photoshoot for me would be a built color coordinated set with an iguana or a colored snake and shot by my favorite photographer Alejandro Osma! It sounds funky but it won't look funky! If it doesn't sound funky it is probably not that good of an idea anyway! haha depending on what you're going obviously, there's millions of different photoshoot styles!
Chris: Name three things that you cannot live without?
Kelly: I cannot live without water, air and food....just kidding! haha. I cannot live without calling my mom at least 4 times a week, I cannot live without making dirty jokes and I cannot live without dancing, although the proper term for that would be shaking it! It is so therapeutic for me, it never fails to soothe my soul and get rid of bad vibes.
Chris: If you could live anywhere in the world where would you choose and why?
Kelly: If I could live anywhere in the world I would choose to live in Iceland! I have never been there but I would love to just move there right away! I think that it is such a simple, calm yet breath-taking place; its landscapes are open, endless and not as populated as a regular city would be.
