Adams co-founded “The
Rising Stars Foundation,”
along with pro athlete,
Gerald Hayes. The organization is a not-for-profit
business that provides
educational and outreach
services to underserved
children in low-income
areas. Their motto is
“Reaching Back While Moving Forward.” Together,
they also created the Rising
Stars Football Camp where
other professional athletes
and celebrities make guest
appearances before a
group of children.
His efforts extend far
beyond the border lines
of New Jersey. Over the
course of the last decade,
he has contributed to many
positive efforts to uplift our
youngsters. Adams hosted
as a team representative
on behalf of the Cleveland
Browns and spoke out at
various middle schools
against gang involvement.
His generous efforts with
home games for members
of the military and their
families during both the
2008 and 2009 seasons.
Adams also participated
“I think I owe it to myself and I owe it to the city
of Paterson to go and talk to the kids and let them
know that whatever you want to do; it can be done.”

sign autographs and greet
guests at Damon’s Grill in
Berea, Ohio. He also acted
