The Qureshi Family has been involved with our school community since they enrolled in 2015.
They have taken every opportunity to be engaged in Sarah’s development and understand each stage, especially the challenging and important early years. They work alongside our school to promote Sarah’s development in every aspect, thus reaching our school’s vision. We are proud to honor this family this month!
Here is what Sarah’s family have to say about Kids R Kids in their own words.
“…Sarah has been attending Kids R Kids West Houston since she was 11 months old. We chose Kids R Kids because of the reputation and the curriculum they offer. Sarah attended two other Kids R Kids previously; however, the staff and care she receives at this location completely sets this school apart. The teachers at this Kids R Kids are fully dedicated to the intellectual, physical and emotional development of every child.
Sarah is always excited to work on her blue folder homework. We make it a part of our routine after dinner every night to work on homework. She appreciates the focused time and attention from us during that time. We also encourage her learning by giving her praise for her accomplishments. We incorporate the word of the week in our evening activities while we’re eating, giving her a bath and at story time etc.
Sarah was a little behind in some of the gross motor skills when she started at Kids R Kids. Through help and encouragement from Ms. Paola, Ms. Ivania and Ms. Mayra, she reached a lot of milestones including walking. We could see improvements in her on a weekly basis. We had a lot of trouble with potty training. Ms. Melissa and Ms. Deysy were instrumental in Sarah learning to use the potty. We simply couldn’t have done it without their help. Sarah is shy and introverted by nature, but thanks to Ms. Celia’s love and encouragement, Sarah came out of her shell and is developing self-confidence. Lastly, Sarah’s vocabulary, speech, intelligence and cognitive development has been flourishing since she started at Kids R Kids. From the beginning, we have been receiving compliments from friends and family on how much Sarah knows for her age. A huge part of this accomplishment is due to the hard work and dedication of every teacher Sarah has worked with. These teachers have made learning a fun experience. They listened to our concerns and worked with Sarah to help her reach new heights….”
