Rather awkward that an attempt at discourse on a matter as tricky as Ghanaian politics should start like this, but then these are extraordinary times. In Ghana now, nothing starts from the beginning and stops at the end. In her over 50 years of existence, this our developing country has seen its fair share of happenings.
It must have been a proud moment when my greatgrandmother in her women’s fellowship cloth joined many thousands of Ghanaians, as they thronged the Independence Square to cheer on the man whose voice had become the voice of the people; Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. These people whose value as humans were once akin to mirrors and combs had come a long way and so celebrations were in order.
