It was another month full of explorations and reactions. We love to brainstorm and hypothesize together. Our learners are always eager to build on their knowledge of chemicals and laws of motion. For the month of June, we tested buoyancy using aluminum boats, and we experimented with static electricity using balloons. Experimenting and learning with everyday items is so convenient. Ask your little one what they learned and you can reinforce these scientific theories at home together. Next month, we’ ll add patriotic colors to some of our chemical reactions in celebration of the Fourth of July. We have so much to celebrate!

The month of June was filled with dirt, growth and a lot of patience. We had a lot of fun in the sun, too! Our learners enjoyed the fruits of their labor with beautiful growing plants in the window. Our little learners repurposed every day materials into flower petals and plant stems to create unique process art. Our older learners used molding dough to create miniature trophies, celebrating their special talents as part of their“ Hooray for You” curriculum. We also created cardboard communities and vehicles to enhance our“ Let’ s Go” learning. Our learners can expect more hands-on sensory activities regarding traveling and summer foods in July. Stay cool, learners!
