Literacy Feature Event
All the classrooms will enjoy “The Mitten” by
Jan Brett, a classic winter tale with props and
special comprehension activities. Be sure and
ask your child about this special event on
January 24.
Warm and Wooly Day
FRIDAY, JANUARY 17
Dress your child in warm and cozy mittens and scarves for a festive
experience in our Winter Wonderland sensory playroom. Every classroom
will enjoy the sights, sounds, and feelings of winter to apply vocabulary
as we explore. Young children learn best this way about their world.
Warm and Wooly Guest Readers Wanted!
During the week of January 13-17, we especially welcome guest readers
to come by our cozy reading area to read your child’s favorite book
aloud. Please sign up to read to the class at the designated time. Please
see the front desk to reserve your time.
SPOTLIGHT FOR OUR PRESCHOOLERS
STEM activities this month will allow your young learner to explore the Arctic and the animals
that inhabit it. We will encourage our engineers to construct habitats for snow animals.
