ECEDHA Foundation Established ECEDHA Working Groups Created
2017 Established a Makers Demo on the Expo floor showcasing university artifacts
Throughout its rich history , ECEDHA continues to evolve and adapt based on the needs of academia and industry . To this day , ECEDHA is the only affiliation of its kind serving as the leading association for electrical and computer engineering institutions .
The purpose of ECEDHA , as expressed in the ECEDHA constitution , are threefold : > Help advance the fields of electrical and computer engineering > Facilitate member interaction and idea exchange > Improve communication with the profession , industry , government , and others

Hosted the inaugural gathering of ECE communicators at the annual conference
Expanded the ECEDHA program to include a Robotics Demo on the Expo floor
Hosted several workshops for Historically Black Colleges and Universities ( HBCU )
Hosted a constituency of ECE Communicators at a special summer workshop
Added a special track at the ECEDHA Annual Conference , dedicated to Lab Professionals
Introduced ECELab Demo Suites at the ECExpo
Unveiled the new ECEDHA logo
Established the virtual ECEDHA Summit Series , beginning December 2020
Pivoted to 100 % virtual services and benefits due to COVID-19 , providing members with over 500 hours of digital content and resources .
2021 Returned to in-person programming
while continuing the virtual ECEDHA Summit program series .
