Ensure shoulders don’t shrug up towards ears. This fits nicely into dynamic warm-ups as it requires core control, encourages good scapular-humeral rhythm, and integrates with fundamental movement patterns for the lower body. While performing any shoulder preparation exercise, correct core position (avoiding extension in the spine) should be maintained. Core stability is inextricable from scapular control, thus ensuring that the trunk is in an appropriate position when doing scapular control drills or getting the arms overhead is paramount. 2 3 BAC K TO WA L L S HOU L D E R F L E X I O N 1 2 3 1 L OW - L E V E L R OTATO R C U F F AC T I VAT I O N A N D SHOULDER EXERCISES No equipment needed.
