1.Business Retention/Expansion: Seek to retain and expand existing employers in the basic industries.
2.Real Estate and Speculative Building Development: Continue to pursue ways to construct speculative build-
ings and enhance key properties for industrial and commercial developments.
3.Marketing: Seek to market Hutto to interested parties both regionally and nationally.
4.Business Recruitment: Expand the business base of the community to diversify the tax base and business
portfolio.
5.Networking: Continue development of regional and state partnerships.
