Saturday 9 St Cristofol , El Perelló The day of the patron saint of travellers is marked with lorries being blessed then driving through El Perelló , followed by a party at the Ermita in the evening .
Thursday 14 until Sunday 17 Festa Verge del Carme , L ’ Ampolla This event honours fishermen , and on the evening of 16 July there is a spectacular procession of boats out of the harbour , finishing with fireworks over the sea . Book a table at a harbourside restaurant and enjoy the spectacle over dinner .
Kingdom of Aragon with its privileged position near to both the River Ebro and the sea . This festival has been awarded a badge of national tourist interest and features medieval cuisine , street performances theatre productions , and much more .
