Bernadette ’ s Day
When it comes to birthdays , many of us look forward in anticipation to the presents we will receive . This wasn ’ t the case for Daveron Park resident , Bernadette , who insisted on giving back to EBL rather than receive presents on her 50th birthday ! With over 100 people in attendance , Bernie ’ s birthday , re-named Bernadette ’ s Day , was a huge hit ! Everyone who attended the event had a wonderful time and smiles could be seen on every face , especially Bernadette . Together with her family and friends , Bernadette ’ s Day raised an amazing $ 1,719.10 in donations for EBL ! Bernadette insisted the money raised go towards supporting those who participate in the EBL day options program based at Daveron Park . Thank you so much to everyone who came along to help celebrate Bernadette ' s special day !
