Welcome Calin
W
e are excited to officially welcome Calin to the position of Harrow
House Manager. Having only been in the role for a short amount of time,
we have already received incredible feedback about her exemplary leadership
as House Manager. Parents of Harrow are extremely pleased with the work
Calin is doing, in particular, organising a special Mother’s Day dinner, which
included the Harrow residents helping out. There were even special menus
printed, with the event proving to be a huge success and one that will be
remembered fondly by those who attended. We are extremely thankful to Calin
for stepping into the Harrow Management role and doing such a wonderful job.

or Mother’s Day this year, Harrow staff and residents decided to do
something a little bit different in hosting a special dinner party especially
for the Mothers. All residents spent time in the kitchen preparing and cooking
a 3-course meal, taking orders, and clearing plates in hopes to impress their

W
hen it comes to birthdays, many of us look forward in anticipation
to the presents we will receive. This wasn’t
the case for Daveron Park resident, Bernadette, who
wonderful Mums– to which they most definitely succeeded! Everyone was insisted on giving back to EBL rather than receive
impressed with their amazing efforts and are already thinking about Father’s presents on her 50th birthday! With over 100 people in
Day! It was an extremely successful night and we thank everyone who came attendance, Bernie’s birthday, re-named Bernadette’s
along, as well as the hard-working staff on the night. Day, was a huge hit! Everyone who attended the event
had a wonderful time and smiles could be seen on every
face, especially Bernadette. Together with her family and
friends, Bernadette’s Day raised an amazing $1,719.10 in
donations for EBL! Bernadette insisted the money raised
go towards supporting those who participate in the EBL
day options program based at Daveron Park. Thank you
so much to everyone who came along to help celebrate
Bernadette's special day!
