EBL’s NDIS Best Practice

E
BL completed a very robust and thorough NDIS Audit before Christmas.
The NDIS Auditors who work across Australia really put us through our
paces and we are proud to share that NO non-conformance was identified
across all of EBL services.
In fact, there were many areas of best practice acknowledged and we received
heartfelt CONGRATULATIONS from the Auditors for delivering an exemplary
service to people with disabilities. What this means for service users is that
they can feel confident that we meet all aspects of the NDIS Code of Conduct
and Practice Standards Quality Indicators.
If you are interested to learn more about the detail of the Standards, you can
find the Code and Quality Indicators at the following web address:

Congratulations to the entire team and thank you for your commitment to help
make this all happen!
Thank You Julie!
A
fter 12 amazing years, we would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to one of
our longest serving employees, Julie Mashford, who finishes up with EBL
on April 3rd. Julie has been a valuable member of the EBL team since her first
day with us on 2nd April 2007. Having started her time in Elizabeth Special
School, she gained permanency with EBL after two years. She was actually
offered permanency with the school at the same time, however, decided to
work for EBL and as they say, the rest is history!
During her time at EBL, Julie worked in many different houses, in particular,
Daveron Park, Munna Para and Kilburn. She also played a big part in the Day
Options program and just loved coming to work each day.
“I am really fortunate to have loved my job and working with the clients, I will
miss them,” said Julie.
As Julie steps into her next adventure, she won’t have much time to spare after
taking up tai chi, carpet bows, dining at lunches along with holidaying in Victor
Harbour in May and taking a cruise in November! Fantastic!!
Julie, on behalf of everyone at EBL, wishing you all the very best and thank
you from the bottom of our hearts, we will miss you!
