Probably some of you will have friends and family who have been directly affected. My relatives on Kangaroo Island are amongst those to have lost a house, but thankfully they are all safe. All of the EBL family knows what it is to face challenges, and over many, many years all of the EBL family understands about the strength needed to keep going in the face of seemingly endless hurdles. All of the EBL family knows what it is to sometimes feel that you face these challenges alone. Perhaps we, because of our unique circumstances, can more deeply understand what the fire-affected people of South Australia are now grappling with.
