Reflecting On The Fires
W
e have all seen and read about the terrible bushfires across much of the
south east of Australia, and particularly here in the Adelaide Hills and
Kangaroo Island. Probably some of you will have friends and family who have
been directly affected. My relatives on Kangaroo Island are amongst those to
have lost a house, but thankfully they are all safe.
All of the EBL family knows what it is to face challenges, and over many, many
years all of the EBL family understands about the strength needed to keep
going in the face of seemingly endless hurdles. All of the EBL family knows
what it is to sometimes feel that you face these challenges alone. Perhaps we,
because of our unique circumstances, can more deeply understand what the
fire-affected people of South Australia are now grappling with.
