ong time EBLer Gio celebrates his 50th birthday!!
Happy birthday Gio, from all of us in the EBL
community! We hope you had an amazing day!
he Learning and Lifestyles Program is extremely lucky to have had an
artist Pat Maxwell working with us on various art therapy programs. Pat
and staff have been working with the participants and have been making and
creating some amazing art. The art package is part of our learning program
and is teaching skills such as: coordination, hand eye coordination, motor skills,
concentration, patients, decision making, confidence and creativity
to name a few.
Due to the success of the art that has been produced we entered
three items into the Gawler show (next year we are hoping to
enter many more). Tammy Anderson produced a picture of a
rainbow, Ashlie Ridley produced a portrait of a staff member and
Josh Antonello produced a Paper Mache elephant. There were
many amazing pieces of art work at the show and we are thrilled
to announce that Josh won third place in his category. He was
obviously very excited with his win, as were staff and participants.
Congratulations to Tammy, Ashlie and Josh.
EBL invites you and your family to our upcoming Annual Christmas Party.
Please come and join us to celebrate the festive season. A family fun day filled
with delicious food, drinks, a whole lot of laughter and great company. And
Josh wins third place !
