EBL Carer Advisory Group
The spring newsletter is here already , let ’ s hope we will have some spring weather also . The Carers Advisory Group met recently and the NDIS was highlighted by a story of a friend who is also a client of EBL . She was so happy to have EBL put her plan together for her NDIS planning meeting . Suffering from ill health herself , she was looking for more services to help her cope with caring for her daughter . The outcome was a huge success and she is now in the process of setting up quotes and contracts for the services she has chosen and all of this with EBL staff assisting and now managing her daughter ’ s plan . I don ’ t know of any other service providing this type of plan assistance and I know the person involved was so pleased to have that burden off her shoulders .
Shortly you will be receiving a notice concerning the EBL Disability Services AGM and urge you to please consider coming along . I have been a Board member for quite a while and have been to a lot of AGM meetings . The meetings are not long and certainly give you an insight into the successes of EBL , as well as provide you with an account of their financial position . Be assured you will not be
coerced into anything . Attending the AGM is a way of showing Wendy , carers and the administration staff how much you appreciate them for providing the type of service we can rely on . In the new NDIS environment , it is nice to be reassured that EBL Disability Services is doing well . Staff and board members will be present if you wish to talk to them on the day too . The AGM is on the 24th October at 6:30pm at the Technology Park Conference Centre , Innovation House , Mawson Lakes . Hope to see you there !

Treasured Harrow House Manager , Cailin and her partner Taylor are proud to announce the birth of their beautiful baby girl , Milah Ivy Hunter . Born 12.44am 6th September 2017 , weighing in at 8.1 pound , 50.5cm long . We are so happy for you both ! Welcome to the world Milah !
