A L O V E R ’ S C O NFESSION
She was afraid to embark on all over
again,
a thought in mind that it will die
soon,…
Anxious of having dreams alter into
nightmare,
petrified,… just fearful,… just being
herself--a coward
She
masks
her
fragile
heart,
pretending to be sturdy.
But when everything was just about
to unfold,
his absence must persist
…was destiny flawed?
Could she carry on being vigorous?
Few more days and nights, he would
leave her side.
Would he be going home, or would he
be leaving it?
She had to let go, he needed to depart
but a promise both would keep.
Under the same sky their love would
continue to exist,
Waiting for the right time…staying
still.
No need to be afraid, need not to be
heartrending.
“There is no fear in love; but perfect
love cast out fear.”
