Most lovers say love is a fairytale,
a prince falling inlove with a princess so fair
but meeting you was quite an epic fail
yet loving a girl like you is a prodigious dare
I know I might have mentioned, that wide arm I like to tease
You tend to get grumpy, giving you unease.
But please dont forget, that piece of skin below and above
is the only fat arm that i'd ever love.
And, oh! Our relationship can be complicated as your teeth
When you smile and laugh gracefully, those squares I see
beneath.
You may have always wanted braces to give it a shove
but that’s the only enamel that I'd ever love.
Your voice, yes, your voice! The aura of my summer
may not be the best we hear, its such a bummer.
But hey that group of notes you may not want to boast
are the sweet, awkward chords that I love the most.
And finally, your face, beautiful I say,
is as big as our love, and this is getting too gay.
That face may be chubby, still I capture and post
because yours is the drop dead visage that I love the
most.
With you, I learned things about this mysterious subject.
Through you, I now know love in this world is so imperfect.
I’ve seen your good side, I’ve seen your bad side
and I choose to love both, so please be my bride.
