Seconds turned into minutes,
SOULMATES
minutes turned into hours.
Words spun into conversation,
as we lay there staring at random space
I wish the clock didn’t tick
while our fingers interlocked
Your lips touch mine
and a chill ran down my spine.
I have waited,
I have trusted.
You made me feel complete
and deep down I want it to repeat.
But I guess He has other plans for us,
maybe we will have one,
maybe we won’t.
But I want you to keep in your mind
that I always cherish our past.
Seconds turned into minutes,
minutes turned into hours.
Words spun into conversation,
as we lay there, staring at random space.
I decided to be fine
and all I do is look up.
With a faint smile, I ask
“Do you have a plan for us?”
